Final Piece

This character is called Lenny. I did try to make another but i was rushing it and it looked dreadful. So I could see where I was going wrong, like edge loops around the eyes. I put a bit more detail into the mouth and nose.
This is just my painted version not smoothed. The next image of Lenny is textured.
I even gave him a hat. I think that me and this character have a lot in common. 

The idea for this character came from the Simpsons and i did do a few drawings of oldish men. some with glasses and some with not. I decided on the head first then the on to the body.
Then theres the end piece of the jigsaw the rendered final animation of Lenny textured spinning around:


For some reason i couldn't get it to render in smooth mode but with the light on him. He's not to bad of a character.

Techs

This character is called Techs as you can see that he is a robot. I know that he is really square. I'm trying to on my next character to change that and make my characters more round. Here are his reference drawings:
On Techs I painted some of his body.  Which took a while but it does look good.

This character i actually added teeth.

Baby Roger Rabbit



This character is to square really for a final piece.  I could not animate him because for some reason there was a fault that I had not noticed that there were holes in the back of his head. I think this might of happened when I tried to make the ears.

More characters

Ive been practicing with maya and came up with another character called Billy Banana. This character was a strange shape because his body was a curved angle. I made two Billy's, because i forgot that he wore a hat which i added later.

Testing my skills


This Edmund has a problem with his glasses so i went back and corrected that as you can see underneath. The problem I had was that I started with a cube which was not as effective as the second Edmund that I used a polygon torus:-
I know this is a basic character but I wanted to see what he would look like in 3D. It helped me because I could see how much of the sculpting in maya that I had remembered.
